Renault has launched the mini site of the new 2014 Koleos facelift before its official unveiling very soon. With this, a lot of official details have surfaced. Let us talk about them…
The most prominent change is the 2.0L liter dCi diesel engine which gets upgraded in both power and torque figures. The power figures at 173ps are 23ps more and torque is 40Nm greater at 360Nm than the outgoing model. This should result in better overall performance of the new Koleos which till now has just been a drab seller for Renault in India.
Apart from the engine and other mechanical bits, new Koleos facelift will be a new fresher bolder face which has a new grille and a bigger Renault logo. Not much has changed though and even without the company badge you can make out the new Koleos. On the interior front as well, the car looks familiar but upmarket. An 8-speaker BOSE Entertainment system will be standard across all variants.
New 2014 Koleos Colour Options:
New facelifted Koloes will be available in 4 colour options:
- White Pearl
- Ultra Silver
- Black Metallic
- Maple Red
New Koleos facelift will be launched in a 2 wheel drive manual variant as well along with the 4wheel drive 6 speed manual and automatic box. With competition heating up in this segment, we hope Renault prices it sensibly. Tony Parker the famous basketball star will endorse the crossover.
