In an official communication, Skoda India has launched its new 2014 model Rapid for our market. This is on the same lines as other manufacturers are re-jigging their cars in the segment.
Here is a quicky then on the revisions you will see on the New Rapid 2014:

If you buy the Rapid 2014, Skoda has on offer an interest rate of 9.99% on a loan amount of INR 7,50,000 payable in 36 EMIs at INR 24,197 per month.
Rapid Model Year 2014 is out in the market for sale and comes in the familiar Active/Ambition/Ambition Plus/Elegance variants.
The Petrol engine is the in-line 4 with liquid cooling, 16V DOHC, positioned transverse, driving the front wheels. The engine is capable of a decent 105PS with 153 Nm. You can choose between the 5-speed manual fully synchronized gearbox and the automatic 6-speed with Tiptronic manual gear changing.
The diesel is turbocharged, in-line 4 1.6L with liquid cooling and direct injection system, driving the front wheels. Power output is similar to the petrol Rapid at 105PS, but diesel, naturally, comes with more torque at 250 Nm. No automatic for the diesel-drinking Rapid and it comes with the 5-speed manual tyranny.
The higher-spec Elegance model of both the petrol and the diesel Rapid gets 15-inch wheels as compared to the regular 14-inch for the rest of the trim levels.

2014 Skoda Rapid Prices:
The lowest price tag comes with Rapid Active petrol with manual transmission for about INR 7,09,930 lacs and goes up to INR 9,61,324 lacs for Skoda Rapid diesel in the Elegance trim (prices ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Dobry den. This front of the Skoda is almost perfect for me. I have too much a cubism feel with most of the other models. Cubism looks good on buildings, not cars. By the way: I like the love that Czechs have for design. It’s a pitty but half of the time, Skoda could look more cool and fresh, like flowers in spring. It just needs that little extra touch, to raise on the height of Volkswagen, with it’s own style.
