Land Rover, the British marquee SUV maker now owned by Tata, has launched the refreshed Range Rover Evoque in India at Rs 47.1 lakhs ex-showroom, Mumbai. The SUV gets several cosmetic as well as technological add-ons which make the already gorgeous looking product an even bigger eye-candy!
The car gets Xenon head lamps and LED daytime running lights, bigger air intakes, honeycomb grille and LED fog lamps. You even get air vents on the bonnet to make the car look evil. The LED tail lamps are also redesigned. Interiors get the same layout with new graphics in the information display. 17 speaker 825 watt Surround Sound System by Meridian is also offered.
The new Evoque comes with the same 2.2 litre diesel mill sourced from Ford (Europe gets a brand new 2.0 litre Ingenium mill) producing 190.3 PS at 3,500 rpm and 420 Nm of peak torque at 1,750 rpm. The gearbox is a 9 speed auto unit with paddle shifters.
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque also boasts of Gesture tailgate function, Head-Up Display, Surround Camera system and mood lighting.
