A few minutes back Mahindra has unveiled their new flagship – the sporty looking XUV Aero which is designed as a Coupe Crossover.
XUV Aero Engine
Mahindra has plonked the same 2.2 Liter m-Hawk diesel engine on the XUV Aero albeit with a lot of changes and betterments. It churns out whopping 210 bhp of peak power and is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. 0 to 60 kmph sprint is claimed in under 6 seconds!
The m-Hawk motor gets a next-generation turbo boost and Mahindra informs that it comes with an advanced combustion system with low pressure EGR adaptability which improves NVH and fuel economy.
Along with this, it also comes with a host of communication and connectivity options like an embedded telecommunication module, integrated touch screen which can control infotainment settings, climate control and on-board vehicle system functions.

Since they have not presented it as a concept and also looking at the crossover, we believe this will be taken to production sometime and will surely be launched as Mahindra’s flagship.
