Chevrolet’s best bet after the Beat hatchback – the tall and lanky Trailblazer SUV, after being officially confirmed, will finally be launched tomorrow in Gurgaon.
The company in its official invite has written – Launch of the “Largest” and “Most Powerful” Premium SUV in India which confirms that Chevrolet will harp on the size and engine power to target SUVs in this Fortuner-dominated segment. We also get the feeling that the company may also price Trailblazer at a premium which may not really be a very good idea to start with.
They are also trying a new retail experience – Trailblazer will also be available at Amazon and apart from showrooms, it can also be booked from here.
Some key features of Trailblazer are..
- Turbocharged 2.8 Liter DURAMAX diesel engine which churns out 200 PS of peak power and 500 Nm of mammoth torque. It will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
- It has a fantastic ground clearance of 253 mm.
- The SUV will also come with a 7 inch My Link Touchscreen.
- Safety features like 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, Hill assist etc.
