In the month of November, Hyundai showcased the 2013 Santa Fe in a 7 Seater avatar in a 3-row seating arrangement at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This 7 seater Santa Fe is 3.9 inches longer than the 5 Seater version, and is costlier by almost $3,900 (~Rs. 2,07 Lakhs)! The prices of the 5 Seater were announced in the month of August and it starts from $24,450 (~Rs. 13 Lakhs). The prices of the 7 seater variant start from $28,350 (~Rs. 15 Lakhs), for the FWD GLS version; and it’s $1,750 (~Rs. 92,000) more for the AWD GLS version.
Also, there are Limited editions of both the versions. The Limited edition of the FWD GLS costs $33,100 (~Rs. 17.5 Lakhs) and for the AWD Limited edition it goes to $34,850 (~Rs. 18.5 Lakhs).
The 2013 Santa Fe was launched in China last month and will soon mark an Indian entry. We expect the official launch to happen sometime towards the middle of this year. However, we’re still not sure that if the AWD 7 Seater would make it to India or not!
