Toyota has re-launched the 8th Generation Land Cruiser 200 in India at a price tag of Rs 1.29 crores ex-showroom in Delhi and it is brought here via the Completely built Unit (CBU) route.
The new Land Cruiser is powered by a 4.5 litre V8 diesel engine producing 265 PS of maximum power and a gargantuan 650 Nm of peak torque! Mated with a 6 speed automatic transmission, the Land Cruiser 200 gets a full time four wheel drive system. The SUV is often known as the King of the 4WDs thanks to its capability of tackling all types of terrains with ease.
The company has added a host of features in the new 8th generation Land Cruiser 200 to make the SUV a more luring preposition. These include:
- Steering wheel with heater
- LED illuminated entry system
- Tyre pressure monitoring system
- Enhanced multi-terrain monitor cameras
Apart from this, the new LC200 comes with hexagonal grille, new design alloy wheels, bigger electro multi vision audio with 4.2 inch TFT display and satin silver finished center console.
Toyota has also backed the SUV with a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km (whichever is earlier). Ever since its introduction almost 6 decades back, the company has already sold 7.5 million Land Cruisers.

The new Land Cruiser 200 will be available in the following colour options:

- White Pearl Crystal Shine
- Silver Metallic
- Grey Metallic
- Black
- Attitude Black
- Dark Red Mica Metallic
- Beige Mica Metallic
- Copper Brown
- Dark Blue Mica
The SUV also gains two new interior colours – Brown and Flaxen, which will be available apart from the existing black option.
