Audi Cars to Get Dearer By Upto Rs 3.69 Lakh From 1st January

Audi has indicated its intentions of a price hike across its model range back in mid-November. Today, Audi has intimated us with the details of price increase figures.

Audi cars in India would get dearer from Rs 59,000 to Rs 3.69 Lakh on ex-showroom Delhi prices across its model range from 1st January 2013. The quantum of hike varies from 1 percent to 5 percent on different models from the stable. Audi Q7 3.0 TDI gets the lowest price hike of 1% possibly because of its recent local production whereas the price of S4 gets the maximum increase by 5%.

Here are the revised prices of Audi cars (ex-showroom Delhi):

  • Audi Q7 3.0 TDI : INR 5,884,000 (up 1%)
  • Audi A6 2.0 TDI : INR 4,086,000 (up 2.5%)
  • Audi A8 L 3.0 TDI : INR 9,129,000 (up 2.5%)
  • Audi Q3 2.0 TDI : INR 2,790,000 (up 2.5%)
  • Audi S4 3.0 TFSI : INR 4,849,000 (up 5%)

Audi has not spared the smallest Q3 and has raised its prices by 2.5% again after a raise in October this year. The A6 and A8 sedans also get a price hike of 2.5%. Audi has already had a stellar year with the targeted 8000 units coming only in 11 months with December sales to add to the tally. Audi had aggressive plans to spread its presence across and its total dealerships stand at 24 till now.

Speaking at this price hike, Audi India Head Michael Perschke said, “As we have stated earlier, the overall market scenario is challenging. The rise in input cost, depreciating rupee as well as continuous increase in fuel prices have made us re-evaluate our pricing strategy in India and increase the prices of our entire model range. However, we are offering our customers customized and innovative finance options from Audi Finance which will make their purchase more attractive.
