Avventura Launched at 5.99 Lakh: Features, Pics & All Details

The best-looking crossover hatch has finally been launched by Fiat India today at an event in Delhi. The price of Avventura starts at INR 5.99 lakh for the base petrol model and goes up to INR – 8.17 lakh for the top-end diesel variant.

Fiat had opened the bookings of the vehicle in September and was also sending emails to people who had expressed interest on its website. The company tells us that there were 1500 inquiries out of which 500 got converted into bookings – not bad!

From the day we first shared its on road spy pics to this day of its launch, a lot has already been talked so far. Nonetheless, here is a brief of all what is available…

Key Pointers from Launch

Fiat Avventura Engines and gearbox options

  1. 1.4-litre FIRE petrol mated to a five-speed manual. Produces 90 PS at 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm at 4,500 rpm.
  2. 1.3-litre Multijet diesel with a five-speed manual. Puts out 93 PS at 4,000 rpm and 209 Nm at 2,000 rpm.

Fiat Avventura variant-wise pricing

Ex-showroom Delhi

Ex-showroom Mumbai

Yes, you would have figured that there is no Emotion variant in Avventura petrol, which means that you just can’t get a petrol Avventura with ABS & EBD (Anti-lock Braking System & Electronic Brake-force Distribution) and airbags. However, there is another angle to it (call it some good news for the aficionados) which we will share in a while 😉

Avventura Color Options

Fiat is offering the Avventura in 6 color options…

  1. Pearl White
  2. Exotica Red
  3. Bronzo Tan
  4. Zafferano Orange
  5. Minimal Grey
  6. Hip Hop Black

Anyway, talking about more of the Fiat’s latest, though we had informed you earlier about it, the first thing you would notice would be its massive ground clearance – all 205 mm of it. Again, just to give you a better perspective, that’s even more than Mahindra Thar’s 200 mm!

The car also retains the inclinometer – a segment first – that measures angles of slope, elevation or depression of an object (the vehicle in this case) with respect to gravity. You get three dials, above the two air-con vents in the centre, which will tell you the car’s tilt angles, and cardinal directions as well.

Fiat says the Avventura has been tested for more than two lakh kilometres on road. We don’t doubt it, thanks to the numerous spy shots of the test vehicles floating on web in the last several months. We’ll be uploading the brochure shortly and you may check all features and equipment of all variants of the Avventura.

And if you want to check out a spec comparison of Avventura with EcoSport, here we have it for you…
