Carzonrent has announced a partnership with Tata Motors and launched Myles City Drive, introducing an international car rental concept at just Rs 99 per hour. People in Delhi-NCR region can now pick a Tata Nano Twist from 43 locations around the city as they deem fit. The collaboration sees 200 Tata Nanos on the street.
Attempting to change the way Delhi travels, the hourly package includes the fuel charges as well (limited only for 10kms and additional Rs 6 per km thereafter). They even have an all-day package for Rs 399 and a monthly package for just Rs 6999. The full day and monthly package requires a security deposit of Rs 5,000 via a credit card. Also, the fuel charges in the daily and monthly plans will have to be looked after by the customer.
And the car involved here is the current top version of Nano – Nano Twist which comes with power steering. Myles City Drive with Tata Nano twist aims to provide a hassle-free online booking process, privacy, freedom and more control as compared to the products offered by their competition.
The company is aiming to make self-drive a very prevalent option and now has 600 cars under the Myles programme. They aim to have a self-drive fleet of over 5,000 cars by 2016. The programme is currently available across 16 cities and offers a wide range of cars from Mahindra e20, Swift, Innova, XUV500 to Mercedes Benz.
