CEAT Tyres launched their first ever luxury tyre, CZAR, in Mumbai, thus heralding their entry into the luxury tyre segment. Catering to the SUV Radial market, these tyres are claimed to be different from the rivals with great cornering stability and uniform wear while treading the road. The company also launched their Gripp LN Tires for the premium passenger car segment.
CZAR Tyres for SUVs
The Czar will be available in two variants, the All-Terrain (A/T) and the Highway Terrain (H/T) and Ceat tell us that each one of them boasts of a unique quality of its own to perform in extreme conditions.
The All-Terrain variant is believed to be best suited for off-roading and should make a good accessory for almost all the popular SUVs. The Highway Terrain variant is typically aimed for use in highway driving, and can also be used for some off-roading applications.

GRIPP LN for Cars:
The Gripp LN range is the latest entrant to the range of premium passenger car radial tyres available in the country. The range is equipped with a special ‘Noise Reduction Technology’ to make cars quieter at all speeds while not compromising with the driving experience. These tires can fit in a wide range of hatchbacks and sedans. The Low Noise property has been certified as per European certification ECE 117 and IDIADA.

We have been seeing a gradual increase in competition among tyre manufacturers in India. With a renowned manufacturer like Ceat venturing into the premium car tyre segment, you just have more choices to consider now.
Very Nice tyre by CEAT.
I have replaced my car (ANHC 2011) from MRF ZVTV to CEAT GrippLN.
MRF lasted for 53K. still having good thread level. But were having very poor in Grip and also It became noisy.
So I replaced them with this CEAT model.
I am very happy with this replave. CEAT have familiar design as Michelin.
Dealer gave me 1y Full Warranty (Replacemnet for any kind of damage), 3y Std Warranty. Dealer told that it will last for 60K. I spend just 14800/- for 4 tyres. MFg Date is March2015.
Review after running on CEAT GripLN for 1K:
– Very low noise. I can hear my engine noise now. 🙂
– Very low price copmared to Michelin/ BS.
– More Value for Money.
– Very nice design.
– Significantly Improved grip. Still very low Noise at speed of 80-120 KMPH.
– Its Indian Brand. Proud to get this kind of quality. 🙂
