Not many would be here reading about the Sail sedan for the first time. With frequent catches and regular updates, we have kept all our readers updated about the upcoming Sail Sedan.
Now, following the typical Chevrolet way, the company has teased the Sail notchback on their official website and has revealed that the car is “Coming Soon“. We expect that the launch is barely a few days away and Chevrolet would be promoting it heavily to ensure the name reaches every household.
When there were speculations of the 1.4L petrol mill making it on the Sail, MotorBash was the first one to reveal that the new Sail sedan will instead come with the 1.2L engine from Sail U-VA hatch way back in August. Sail would also come with the 1.3L SMARTECH diesel engine again from Sail U-VA.
Chevrolet also tells that the car would carry the same 5 year/1.5 Lakh kms Warranty on Engine and Transmission. We also shared with you a few hours back that Chevrolet has tested the Sail U-VA extensively and we expect it would be the same case with this upcoming Sail notchback.
Through this teaser, we also understand that Chevrolet will promote the car for its styling which we feel is definitely is its USP and definitely not one of those copy boot-on-a-hatch jobs. Chevrolet would also highlight the practicality of Sail to take the word further. It all boils down to the pricing of Sail which would make it or break it for Chevrolet.
