Chevrolet Trax Showcased at Paris Auto Show

If you have loved the EcoSport, here is General Motors’ version of its compact SUV, Trax. GM showcased the new Compact SUV at the Paris Auto Show.

With the aggressive rugged look, the Trax is sure a head-turner on the roads.

The company says it’s not for the US car market but is destined to the European market to join the ‘cute & rugged craze’ that is currently going on over there. The Trax shares the same platform with the Buick Encore and Opel Mokka.

The Europe destined Trax comes with 6 Variants:

LS 1.6
LT 1.6
LT 1.7 VCDi
LT 1.7 VCDi AWD
LT 1.7 VCDi AT
LT 1.4T AWD

All these variants come with 3 engine options:

1.4-Liter in-line 4-Cylinder Turbocharged Petrol engine that develops 140 PS of power @ 6,000 RPM and 200 Nm of torque @ 1,850 RPM
1.6-Litre in-line 4-Cylinder petrol engine that churns out 115 PS of power @ 6,000 RPM and 155 Nm of torque at 4,000 RPM
1.7-Litre in-line 4-Cylinder Turbocharged Diesel engine that deliver out 130 PS of power @ 4,000 RPM and 300 Nm of torque @ 2,000 RPM
