Maruti’s much awaited mid-size sedan has created quite a buzz which is their first weapon to carve out an image of premiumness! And that surely will not be going to get easy especially when you have players like the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and others as your key competitors.
Everyone knows the SX4 story! The company though does not want a repeat of that and they are better prepared this time. They are accomplishing this by adopting a better marketing strategy, showing strong commitment to expand in the premium segment and are putting in a lot of features to lure the customers.
Maruti is accepting bookings for the Ciaz since September 3, 2014 and is expected to launch the car soon. As per a report published on Autocar, Ciaz is going to be launched on October 6, 2014. According to them, Ciaz is already running with a 2 month waiting period on all the variants.
As is known, the car will come with the 1.4L 93PS petrol engine and 1.3L 90PS diesel engine. Yes, it doesn’t have anything special here but it offers segment best rated fuel efficiencies and interior space.
