Datsun’s Sedan Sketch Revealed: Unveiling on 4th April in Russia [Video]

In an official communication, Datsun has shared with us the first ever sketch of a sedan from their stables. However, unlike the more modern looking Go hatchback which will be launched in India shortly, the new sedan looks a little traditional in design.

And if the report got you excited, let us inform you that they have clarified that this new Datsun sedan is specifically for the Russian market.

  • The Russian website goes live form today (view it here)
  • The new sedan developed specifically for the Russian market

It would be the first time Datsun brand will be introduced in Russia. The Russian website currently shows a ticker which countdowns to 4th April, which is when Datsun will pull the wraps off the new sedan, marking their entry into the market. Datsun informs that this sedan was styled in Japan but the development was carried out within the country with international team of company engineers.

Datsun promises a ‘right and transparent‘ price for the new sedan along with an engaging drive, peace of mind and competitive ownership costs.

A similar strategy was followed by Nissan while unveiling the Datsun brand in India. Nissan’s boss Carlos Ghosn pulled the wraps off the first Datsun car Go in India back in July and on 19th of this month their first car ‘GO‘ will mark its entry into the market, which will be followed by the Go+ MPV. With the Datsun brand, Nissan intends to enter the developing markets like Russia, Indonesia apart from India.
