Days Before Launch Bolt Reaches Dealerships

Tata’s revival plan saw the first step with the Zest which has managed to get a good response so far. And their next launch is the Bolt hatchback which, according to what we have heard, was deliberately delayed (for launch after Zest) since it looks like just a bettered version of their Vista hatch, and may have affected Zest as well.

Nonetheless, talking about the product in hand, the car does look fresh in Tata’s lineup as well as the B-segment it will be rivaling in. And, through this picture sent to us by our reader Mohamed Shahid Hussain, we get the confirmation that the car has started reaching dealerships.

This picture shows the car at some dealership most probably in some southern part of the country.

Bolt is the hatchback variant of the Zest and will be getting the same set of engines as the compact sedan. Being the second new product in the Horizonext product strategy, the design cues are pretty much the same. The features list is also expected to be impressive enough to cause a bit of discomfort to the competition.

For Bolt, which will be launched in Mumbai on January 20, Tata has already started online bookings. The car showcased just before the Auto expo to the media, managed to get a lot of admirers and the tempo seems to be high at this point…The company hopes that sales of Bolt will complement Zest and together, these two products may help them regain the sales point they were at a few years back.

The car has a stunning front, which gets accentuated even more with the chrome studded head lamp console and projectors, a first in the segment. The petrol version also gets three driving modes, a feature never seen before in this price segment. Now let’s just hope that Tata manages to price the Bolt well.
