Renault entered the MPV segment with the Lodgy which is a pretty decent offering but it has failed to lure buyers and higher-than-expected price tag was one of the reasons. In fact, as we reported last, Renault even had to stall production to clear the backlog lying with dealers. According to the official company website, Lodgy is being offered at some whopping discounts of upto Rs 1.65 lakhs.
This benefit, however, is applicable only on the Lodgy Stepway variant which is available as an 8 seater and 7 seater for Rs 11.99 lakhs and Rs 12.29 lakhs respectively (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The regular variants of Lodgy can be had for discounts of Rs 1.61 lakhs but on stocks older than 6 months (based on production date).
On units which are newer (than 6 months) you can avail benefits package of Rs 1.01 lakhs. The Lodgy RxL 110 PS is available at Rs 9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) though in select states.
Apart from this, Renault is running ‘December celebrations’ promotions which includes a daily prize of gold worth Rs 1 lakh and a grand weekly prize of a Renault car.
The company is also offering benefits of upto Rs 81,000 on the 4×2 diesel variant of Duster (not on the Explore Edition). The petrol version and 4×4 diesel have benefits of up to Rs 50,000 and Rs 60,000 on select stock.
Do you think its still fare to go with Ertiga VDI SHVS in comparision with Lodgy RxL or RxE variants even after their discounts ? Please suggest anyone
