Close on the heels of Fiat launching the new Linea facelift, the lesser sibling is being offered at hefty discounts and offers. According to a banner at their official Facebook page you can get benefits of as many as Rs 75,000!
However, no one knows the actual break-up and how does it transform to Rs 75,000 (even if that is ‘upto’). We contacted the number that is provided and the lad on the other side of the call was hell bent on informing us that this offer is applicable for all 2013 Linea (regular non classic) variants wherein you get a gift cheque of Rs 75,000 flat (no upto!).
When confronted a bit, he promised to get back in 5 minutes. Many hours later we received a couple of calls which informed us that breakup of this Rs 75,000 is:
- Exchange Bonus: Rs 50,000
- Free Insurance: Rs 25,000
Though, this does equate to Rs 75,000 but neither the guys nor anyone at Fiat seems to be too confident on what they have promised. Nonetheless, the jist of the story is that you can actually get ‘upto’ Rs 75,000 off on the actual price of a Linea Classic which is already priced fairly well.
This offer should be applicable to both the diesel and petrol variants and this makes the starting price of the car considerably more luring. For starters, Linea Classic is powered by the same 88PS 1.4L naturally aspirated FIRE petrol engine and the 1.3L Multijet diesel engine which produces only 75PS of power. Linea Classic range starts at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 5.99 Lakhs and goes till Rs 7.51 Lakhs for the Classic+. (More Details)
It should be known that, after the launch of Linea facelift, the regular Linea will be discontinued and the Classic will continue to be sold alongwith. And by the way, prior to its launch on 4th or 5th of February, facelifted Linea’s prices have been busted along with all features and variants. You can check them here.
And while we are at it, let us also keep you informed that you can get some hefty discounts stretching to lakh of rupees in case you plan to go for the existing regular Fiat Linea. Your choice!
