Chevy Cruze is no doubt an eye-candy on the roads and a fantastic mile muncher! Recently, in India the Cruze got a change of heart with a new 2.0-Liter Z-Series engine and better power increasing its already claimed performance supremacy over its rivals. However, there were no cosmetic facelifts.
Now, in Malaysia, the Cruze has received a facelift with the following features:
- Re-worked front bumper with bigger air intakes and revised fog lamps
- Rear-bumper with minor changes
- The front-overhang is a bit longer than before
- Newly designed 16-Inch alloy wheels
- USB Connectivity
- Leather-Fabric-mix seats
Apart from the exterior and interior features, the Malaysian Cruze also get a tweaked heart. The existing 1.8L DOHC 16 Valve 140 HP petrol engine gets technologies like Double Continuous Variable Cam Phasing (DCVCP) and Variable Intake System (VIS).
As per General Motor’s future plan for India, we can expect this Facelifted Cruze here as well! But when? Only GM knows. Read more about General Motors India’s future plans here.
