Force Launches EX & SX, New Variants of Force One SUV Starting From Rs 8.99 Lakhs

We knew they were coming and they made their appearance at the official site of Force Motors silently. And now, Force Motors have officially unveiled both the new variants of their flagship SUV, Force One SX & EX.

If you are getting confused, let us clear it out for you. Force One was offered in only one trim till now. In a strategic move, Force has added one trim below (EX) and another trim (LX) above this existing variant. Apart from this, the existing variant has also been rechristened to SX and now comes with ABS and EBD. This makes the total trim offerings to 3:

Force-One-SUV (6)

  1. Base: Force One EX
  2. Mid: Force One SX
  3. Top: Force One LX

Force One LX (Luxury): This is the top of the line 4×4 variant of Force One and comes equipped with ABS and EBD. However, it will officially be launched next month and that is when the prices will be known.

Force One SX (Superior): This is the same variant that was on offer since 2011 but now has been refreshed to include a host of new features.

  • Electrically Operated OSRVM with side blinkers

Force-One-SUV (3)

It comes mated to the same 2.2L FMTECH diesel engine made under licence from Daimler which produces 141PS of peak power output and 321Nm of maximum torque. Further Force also informs that the entire onboard electronics is audited and validated by Mercedes-Benz Technologies Germany and its ride and handling has been finetuned by Lotus Engineering UK.

Force-One-SUV (1)

Force One EX (Executive): This is the new addition to the list. The EX variant of Force One comes with Gurkha’s OM616 2650cc DI diesel engine which produces 82PS of power output and 230Nm of torque coupled with Mercedes G1-18 derived 5-speed gearbox. It is BS3 compliant and hence, will be available (for registration) in all cities except the top 13 cities which follow BS4 norms. Force One EX features:

Force One comes with class leading interior space, good road presence and with the introduction of the EX variant, Force has ensured that the range starts at an attractive price point. Force is offering a warranty of 3 years and 1 Lakh kms and promises low cost of ownership.
