Top of the Line Force One LX 4X4 Priced at Rs 13.98 Lakhs; Sales Begin Soon; Bookings Open

Last, we remember talking about the Force One was back in January this year when we shared with you its still-testing spyshots from Pune with an expected launch sometime in February.

However, that did not happen and our email to Force Motors was left unanswered. In the latest update, Force has updated the official website with the details of Force One LX variant with its prices. According to the website, Bookings of the top of the Line Force One 4X4 are open and sales are expected to commence very shortly.

Force-One-SUV (6)

Force has already launched the entry level EX variant as well as the mid SX variant way back in July 2014. While both of these are 2 Wheel Drive SUVs, the top of the line LX is a 4×4 variant which carries extra hardware along with a Limited Slip Differential. That appears to be the only reason of Force delaying its launch.

Apart from this, Force One LX also comes with broader 245/70 16 inch tyres (EX & SX get 235/70 16 inchers) and ABS with EBD. Force One LX (LX Stands for Luxury) also comes with the same BS4 141PS 321Nm Mercedes sourced 2.2L FMTECH diesel engine that does duty on the SX variant.

Force One LX features an Electronic Shift on the Fly 4X4 system wherein, with a simple twist of a switch you can engage 4 wheel drive in motion. Force One LX variant is priced at Rs 13.98 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi and comes only in the 6+D seating configuration. Incidentally, retail sales of Gurkha are also expected to start from June along with a BS4 engine.
