Ford EcoSport is undoubtedly Ford’s best offering in India right now. Right styling, right positioning, right features and right pricing, it all adds to a cracker of a product. The EcoSport, indeed, brings the bacon home for Ford in India.
The compact SUV has won the heart of tons of Indians and a testimony to this is the fact that thousands of customers are booking it despite knowing the insane waiting periods. If you remember those ‘spyshot-days’ of EcoSport when the spy pics of the baby SUV were all over the place some with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) and some without them. The end-product for India did not have the DRLs even on the top of the line Titanium Plus variant.
However, Ford has finally started offering LED DRLs as an optional accessory according to Autocar which it calls ‘Signature’ LED DRLs. And if you want your EcoSport to keep illuminating, you can opt for it. And it sure adds up to its looks. The company has always been offering day time running lights as standard in its international markets.
These DRLs can be fitted in any variant for an additional amount of 15,000 rupees. Old customers can also get DRLs fitted on their car by going to their nearest Ford dealership. Sure, you can get after market fitments at lesser costs but buying them from Ford will ensure no warranty issues.
