Chevrolet Joins the Price Hike Club, Plans to Increase Prices From 1st October

Just after the announcement of Maruti Suzuki and Honda, Chevrolet India has also declared a revision in the prices of all vehicles in its Indian stable.

Just like every other car maker, GM is also explaining the reason of this price hike to be an offset of the impact of rising input costs and fluctuation of currency values. The price hike would go effective from 1st October.

Mr. P. Balendran, Vice President, GM India, said: “The details, such as quantum of hike, are still being evaluated but we have decided to increase the prices of all our models from October 1 due to high input costs, currency fluctuation and freight costs”.

Meanwhile Chevrolet has a lot of cars planned in the upcoming months including the Sail U-VA (See pic above) and facelifted Spark both of which are expected to get launched next month.
