GTA: San Andreas Coming to Your iPhones/Androids/Tablets This December

Rockstar Games, the developers of hughly popular Grand Theft Auto series, is working on remastering its GTA: San Andreas version for smartphone and tablets. The company plans to debut it this month and you can play it on your iPhone, iPad, Android (including Amazon’s Kindle Fire) and Windows devices.

Rockstar claims that the 2004 GTA: SA has been comprehensively rebuffed to impart top-notch graphics, details, and color. The remastered game will also feature enhanced characters and car models.

In a statement released to media, Rockstar says:

“Encompassing Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas and everything in between, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has been upgraded for its mobile release. Newly remastered graphics including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched colour palette, plus enhanced character and car models make this the best-looking version of San Andreas yet.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas also features brand new touch controls including contextual control options to display buttons only when you need them and three different control schemes for driving and manoeuvring, as well as a reworked checkpoint system for easier progression.”

The company has already introduced Grand Theft Auto 3 and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for smartphones and tablets and the GTA: SA will be their third offering. The GTA3 and the GTA: VC are available online for about Rs. 300. The GTA: SA when released should fetch similar price.
