We thought Maruti/Suzuki offers such kind of absolutely minor jobs on their model refreshes only in India. But we were wrong! Through some sneaking shots releases by Suzuki’s Belgium website, what you see here is the 2014 updated Swift facelift.
We you are thinking is what we had in our mind. What has changed? So let us give you the loooong list of changes that the car carries. We will only need three lines for it though!
- L-Shaped LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) on fog lamp housings
- Integrated side blinkers on the ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors)
- New golden brown color
Yes, that is all what appears to have changed! And in case you had high expectations, we know you would be banging your heads. However, ever since the All-New Swift was born a few years back, it has been received exceptionally all around the world. It doesn’t look dated and that is what appears to have played in the minds of Suzuki’s management who decided not touch something which is so very well accepted.
Internationally, Swift gets the 1.2L K-Series petrol engine which belts out 94PS of power output as compared to the 86PS of the India model. In addition, the ever so versatile, 75PS DDIS Multi-Jet engine also is carried over. In foreign markets, Swift is also offered with a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Suzuki is expected to commence sales of this 2014 Swift in a few months from now.
