Jaguar’s C-Type, for the first time made its debut appearance in India at the 2013 Cartier ‘Travel With Style’ Concours d ‘Elegance held on 9th and 10th February. It was also a big crowd puller at the Jaguar Couture Evening.
This is the very car that brought the first ever victory to Jaguar at the Le Mans 24-hour race. The car pics you see here was the one in which Sir Stirling Moss won the 1952 Reims Grand Prix. It also registered victories at Boreham and Tumberry. It was in 1951 when the Jaguar C-Type registered a win at Le Mans in its first attempt. It also raised the cup in 1953.
