Honda Amaze Facelift Spied Uncamouflaged, Launch on 3rd March Reportedly

Amaze facelift is reportedly launching early next month

Honda’s challenger to the Maruti Dzire, Amaze is a three year old product now and the company seems to be getting ready to bring out a minor facelift. The uncamouflaged test unit spotted by the folks at Gaadiwaadi.com suggests that the car can be expected to hit the roads very soon. This would be the first facelift to Amaze which gained power folding ORVMs and a touchscreen navigation system last year.

The nose of the car gains a chrome dose front grille with a redesigned front bumper. The head lamps still retain the bug eyed look but the fog lamp enclosure has been modified. While the interiors cannot be seen in the spy sot, we expect the car to get a slightly more premium setup with a dashboard drawing resemblance from the upcoming BR-V.

Mechanically though, expect Amaze to be powered by the same set of engines with the 1.2 litre i-VTEC petrol producing 88 PS of power and 109 Nm of torque and a 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel mill producing 100 PS of maximum power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options – 5 speed manual gearbox and 5 speed automatic unit (limited to petrol), will continue.
