Scoop: 2014 BMW X5 Spied, Interior Pics Inside

BMW is working on the upcoming 2014 X5. And the spy photographers at worldcarfans.com have managed to snap some clear images of the test mule.

Though it was heavily camouflaged from the outside, the interior photo reveals a lot about the car.

Let’s sum up the observations and discuss about it:

Exteriors:

  • Revised Design
  • Prominent front grille
  • Sloping roofline
  • Tail-gate mounted rear spoiler
  • Dual exhaust system

Interiors:

  • Leather upholstery
  • Wood trim and metallic accents
  • Three-Spoke steering wheel
  • Larger i-Drive display screen

As for now, engine options still remain in the dark. The line-up may include a 248 PS 2.0-Litre Diesel engine, a 306 PS 3.0-Litre Diesel engine and a 408 PS twin-turbocharged 4.4-Litre V8. The company might also include a Hybrid variant with a  3.0-Litre twin-turbocharged engine and an electric motor that can deliver 340 PS as combined.

Tentative launch date is still unconfirmed. Stay tuned for more details about this upcoming monster!
