Jaguar at the Auto Expo 2016 has finally launched the very eagerly awaited 3 series and C Class rival, the XE, their smallest sedan at a starting price tag of Rs 39.90 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi. Initially, the XE will be available only with a 2.0 litre petrol mill and will go on sale by the end of this month and will be manufactured at the company’s Pune facility.
In person, the XE look every bit a true Jaguar and gets eye catching J shaped LED daytime running lights. The rear tail lamps get a horizontal line intersecting a roundel reminding one of the legendary E-type.
Built on a new aluminium intensive monocoque platform, the XE’s 2.0 litre petrol mill will be available in two output options:
Both the engines are fitted with 8 speed automatic gearbox.
In terms of features the XE boasts of speed proportional electronic power steering, cruise control with automatic speed limiter, 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with the top end getting a 380 watt Meridian sound system, torque vectoring by braking, emergency brake assist, dynamic stability control, dual zone climate control and all surface progress control.

Apart from this Jaguar has also showcased the F Pace, the company’s first crossover which is also expected to hit the streets soon.
