We have been following the Kwid very closely and have been sharing insights on the most awaited small car in India. We told you that Kwid’s production is expected to start by this month end or by early September. And now, in an update, we have learnt that Renault is planning to launch its official media campaigns from next month.
As a practice before launch, generally, companies conduct media drives of upcoming cars. This partially has to do with reviews going on time and it also serves the purpose of creating that initial hype which, often decides the fate of a product. Like how it did with Lodgy, Renault is planning to conduct media drive of Kwid sometime next month and the place will most probably be Goa!
These inputs further strengthen the belief that Kwid may be launch towards the second part of next month or probably early in October this year.

It is known that Kwid, Renault’s smallest car for India, will be powered by an all-new 800cc petrol engine which is expected to churn out class leading fuel efficiency and a promised exceptional driveability. It will also get a bigger 1000cc engine derivative, but that will be sometime later…
