Lamborghini Announces Roadster Version of Aventador Superveloce

Lamborghini at the Goodwood Festival of Speed has confirmed that they are going to produce the roadster version of the Aventador Superveloce. However, the supercar will be limited to 500 units, which is 100 less than the Aventador Superveloce showcased at the Geneva Motor Show earlier in the year.

The Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce and its open top roadster version will both be sharing the engine tuning. The 6.5 litre V12 engine produces a maximum power output of 750 PS at 8,400 rpm and a peak torque output of 690 Nm at 5,500 Nm. 100 kmph comes up on the speedo in 2.8 second while 200 comes in just 8.6 second. The car flats out at a scary 350 kmph. It gets a permanent four wheel drive system and a 7 speed AMT gearbox.
