Barely a few days back, Lamborghini Huracan made its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show and today we have the first ever spyshots of the car from India!
Published at Autocarindia.com, these spyshots reveal a Huracan getting unloaded from a truck bay from Mumbai airport. Autocar says that Lamborghini will launch the new Huracan in India by the end of this year and this particular model will be used for promotions and to gauge customer responses.
Lamborghini is organising a preview event for the selected few in Mumbai this weekend and a similar event is scheduled in Delhi sometime after this.
For starters, Huracan is Lambo’s latest sportscar which is a replacement to Gallardo. Huracan gets power from a 610bhp 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine which weighs 1422kgs, has a top speed of 325kmph and does the 0-100kmph dash in a mere 3.2 seconds. The engine is mated to a new 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.
Huracan, the company says, is a more practical option which is more ‘approachable’ than the edgy Gallardo and is interestingly faster than the predecessor on the tracks as well. Autocar says Huracan will be priced at Rs 3.43 crores ex-showroom in Delhi and will go on sale by the end of this year 2014.
