Lambo Huracan Spotted on Mumbai Roads Before Official Launch in 4 days!

We have received an invite for the launch event of Lamborghini’s Huracan which is scheduled to be held on the 22nd of this month and one of the supercar pages on Facebook, Supercars and Exotics in Mumbai has put up this image of a red specimen already running on Mumbai roads!

It doesn’t appear that Lamborghini would be testing it in India, however those are temporary registration plates possibly of the car running for some dealerships for display or some other similar purpose.

Lamborghini Huracan

The latest Lambo in India comes with a 5.2-litre V10 engine that puts out 610 horses and 560 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The company is claiming a 0-100 kmph time of 3.2 seconds; a 0-200 kmph time of 9.9 seconds, and a top speed of 325 kmph.

We have no reason to doubt any of those figures, however, though the Huracan replaces the 560 bhp Gallardo, the ex-showroom price of the cheapest Gallardo started at less than two crores while the Huracan would be a lot more expensive at around 3.5 crore rupees (on-road).

The Gallardo goes down in history books as the biggest-selling Lambo ever although it never did really come close to the all-conquering Ferrari 458 Italia when it came to all-round performance. In the Huracan, Lamborghini now seems to have a more potent package to challenge what has been adjudged the best supercar in the world. This should be interesting…
