Quite clearly, out of the complete new lineup that Chevrolet has introduced in India, Enjoy MPV has been the best-selling. And now, amidst falling sales, Chevrolet has resorted to the special edition game.

They have introduced a special limited edition of its MPV Enjoy. First launched in May 2013, Chevy was careful to project Enjoy as a family getaway vehicle and not as a people carrier serving as office conveyance for IT/ITES sector. Enjoy was introduced with 8 variants, 4 each for petrol and diesel models. Eight months on and Chevy claims to have sold 14,000 Enjoys in the country already; that’s more than 1700 of these MPVs sold every month! This is not much considering what the rivals sell, but considering Chevrolet’s standards these are good figures.

Chevrolet has not labelled the new edition with any snazzy names and they are calling it simply the ‘Enjoy Limited Edition’.

To differentiate itself from the standard version of the MPV, the Limited Edition comes with a new wood dashboard and door trim. The standard Enjoy already has chrome surround three-dimensional grille, chrome meshed air dam in the front bumper and chrome door handles.

The Limited Edition comes with more chrome garnish around the backlights and on the license plate light. There is also a chrome effect tail gate boot strip providing protection against bumps and scratches. The outside rear-view mirror has been bedecked with side blinkers and roof rails have also been added to give the vehicle a rugged and sporty stance.

There is a little confusion about the pricing of the Limited Edition Enjoy since Chevrolet has not specifically mentioned about its price. All they have shared is the starting price of the Enjoy range which stands at Rs 5.78 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi and comes with additional benefits of up to Rs 33,000 with free accessories worth Rs 14,000.

The Limited Edition may just be for the for the diesel engine only. There are no mechanical changes and the 1.3L Enjoy produces 77PS of peak power output and 188Nm of maximum torque. So, if you want to buy a VFM MPV with a flexible seating capacity of 7 or 8 people and spacious interiors, Chevrolet is present to make you ‘Enjoy’.
