While going to my office today morning I spotted these images of not one but three Auto Rickshaw doing rounds naked on the Hinjewadi Highway in Pune. Took pics of them and later on managed to find this company and its details.
About the manufacturer J.S. Auto
The vehicles you see here are from a Kanpur based three wheeler manufacturers J.S. Auto (P) LTD. which make three wheelers under the brand name of JSA. Surprisingly, what I can learn from their website is that they have been in business for the past (at least) 21 years. JS Auto they have a base both in India and export to the European markets as well.
About the product:
– The model caught testing is the JSA 1360 DIII
– This three wheeler sports a single cylinder 510cc air cooled engine which is capable of producing 11 HP of power @ 3000 RPM and a decent 27Nm of torque between 1800 to 2400 rpm.
– The 3 wheelers were undergoing ARAI testing as was mentioned on their windshields.
– Vehicle was completely stock with no covering, body etc.
– It was a trail of 3 vehicles running around with similar looking striking drivers sporting orange bandanas with jet black googles
– Front headlamps resembled previous gen Maruti Omnis
– Looks like these people want to launch this in parts where there is lesser existence.
