“Nothing Else Will Do” was how Mahindra captioned Scorpio and to every little letter of it, people discarded other similar segment cars and chose Scoprio over them. Scorpio was a true ‘Made in India’ homegrown SUV which changed the face of the game for Mahindra.
Scorpio was launched in June 2002 and soon after it took the market by storm displacing many top sellers and it is still one of the largest selling SUV’s in the country.
Competitors have come and gone, but Scorpio has remained one of the favorite choices of an average SUV buyer in India. Scorpio went through a lot of internal as well as external changes during its complete life of 10 years and has always come out with something which keeps the customer desiring for this car.
Meanwhile, we understand that Mahindra would launch an all-new Scorpio in 2014 and that would be one thing to wait impatiently for.
