It was Sail sedan Limited Edition yesterday and it is the turn of the Sail U-VA hatchback that is receiving the additional goodies and discounts today.
Chevrolet has launched a Limited Edition Sail U-VA hatchback which gets the following features:
- Limited Edition Seat Covers
- Chrome garnish on the trunk lid
- Roof Rails
- Illuminated Sill Plates
- Limited Edition Badge
- Limited Edition stickers on the body
- ORVM (Outside rear view mirror) integrated side blinkers
- Cushion Pillows!
Like the sedan, Sail hatchback receives the following benefits:
- Total Discount Benefits: Rs 28,000
- Free Accessories Worth: Rs 14,300
This adds upto total discounts of Rs 42,300 on the price of the car.
Chevrolet Sail hatchback received a price cut after the Sail sedan was launched which made it a fairly decent overall package against its competitors. With this ‘limited edition’ treatment, Chevrolet has tried to bring it to the news again and make it a slightly more luring prospect.
Sail hatch is powered by the same 1.2L petrol and 1.3L diesel SMARTECH engines which are rated at fuel efficiency figures of 18.2kmpl for petrol and 22.1kmpl for diesel. Chevrolet Sail hatchback pricing starts at Rs 4.36 Lakhs ex-showroom for the entry level petrol variant and Rs 5.35 Lakhs for the base diesel.
Sail hatch has not really been received well in the market and with its dismal sales it is one among the lowest selling B-segment cars in the country. This is because of its Chinese roots as well as uninspiring styling. How would this Limited Edition treatment help Sail hatch remains to be seen.
