At a glittering function in Delhi, Volvo has launched their latest offerings – S60 and XC60 in India. While we talk about the XC60 in another article, this post gives an insight into the S60 sedan.
The 2014 Volvo S60 was unveiled to the world in March 2013 at Geneva Motor Show and a few months later, we have it here for our market. Volvo loves to call it as a New-Gen car but it is a facelift of S60 in reality.
In its newer form, the S60 looks more modern with sharper front fascia. The changes include:
- Redesigned grille
- Refreshed sharper headlights
- Newer airdams
- New integrated dual exhaust pipes
- Modified bumpers to accommodate these changes

- City safety now works upto speeds of 50 kmph
- Digital Instrument Cluster with active TFT crystal display. It has 3 themes – Elegance, ECO & Performance
- LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)
