Original Article from October 7, 2016: Mahindra Electric, formerly known as Mahindra Reva, has started teasing its upcoming  product the e2oPlus. While the existing e2o is a two-door car, this one is a five-door product. Possibly bigger than the present car. Adding more practicality, the e2oPlus is set to hit the streets soon.

While electric vehicles have largely been ignored by other manufacturers, Mahindra has been pouring in significant investments in the sector. Post the eVerito electric sedan, they even launched an electric van called as eSupro.

Mahindra had earlier marked its entry in the world of electric by acquiring Chetan Maini’s Reva in 2010. Here’s what Mr Pravin Shah, Director Mahindra Electric, had to say:

“The e2oPlus is all about positive additions. We have incorporated additional space – something that would delight our customers. We have also added extra range and fast charging, among other very interesting ‘pluses’. I am confident that this new model will be a game changer not only in the electric vehicles segment but also among all other categories of cars”.
