Mahindra in the last 12 months, has been targeting the sub 4 metre compact SUV segment like it is their own playground. Right from the TUV 300 to now the a new sub 4 metre Bolero, the SUV specialists have gone bonkers. Yes, today it is time for the Bolero Power+. Priced at Rs 6.86 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), it brings the popular Bolero package in a new avatar.
The Bolero Power+ is powered by a new mHawk D70 engine which churns out 13 percent more power and 5 percent more fuel efficiency than the regular sized Bolero. The output stands at 70 bhp of maximum power at 3,600 rpm and 195 Nm of torque peaking in the range of 1,400 to 2,000 rpm. Mated to this is a 5 speed manual gearbox helping the vehicle return 16.5 kmpl of efficiency.
The length has been decreased by 112 mm and now stands at 3,995 mm. The width and height remain the same at 1,745 mm and 1,880 mm respectively. The smaller engine and decreased engine capacity (which strangely they have not revealed) has helped in reducing the price. The Bolero Power+ comes under the lower tax slab. - Mahindra Bolero Power+ SLE: Rs 6,86,881
