The 120th edition of the Mahindra Great Escape has come to a conclusion in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan with over 70 Mahindra SUVs participating in the invitation only event. Invited dignitaries also included CEOs of domestic and international auto component companies and agencies.
Negotiating an overall track of 60 km comprising a 12 km off-road track of steep inclines, shifting slopes and undulating sand dunes left everyone asking for more. The event saw the participation of eminent personalities from different backgrounds enjoying the spirit of adventure and off-roading.
Participating vehicles included the Thar, Scorpio, Scorpio Getaway and Bolero. The terrain was a challenge for the experienced and amateurs alike. These SUVs were subjected to steep inclines, shifting slopes and deceitful sands in and around the popular Sam Sand Dunes.
Two prime attractions to the rally were the unveiling of the White Special Edition Thar and the showcasing of the company’s 5 millionth vehicle (coincidentally also a Thar). The Mahindra Great Escape route was chalked out by the Mahindra Adventure team with the With You Hamesha service team who made sure that participants enjoyed the rally without any untoward incidence and trouble.
