Indian bred Mahindra & Mahindra recorded their highest ever monthly sales this March 2012 by registering total sales of 47,001 units which is 25 percent higher than the corresponding March last year (Mar 2011 – 37522 units).
In the domestic market M&M registred a 25 percent growth as well registering 44,342 units against 35,488 sold in March 2011. Passenger vehicles of the company (23,020 units) registered a 33 percent increase this month against March 2011 (17,320 units).
The 3-wheelers suffered a slight decline in sales from 5769 units in Mar 2011 to 5089 in this March 2012. 4-wheeler commercial vehicles rose from 11,520 (Mar 2011 figures) to 14,714 units in Mar 2012.
Exports also increased to 2659 units from 2034 units in March 2011.
