With a full-page advertisement in major newspapers of India, Maruti has kickstarted sales of New 2013 SX4 facelift, which now comes with a mild refresh.

Here are all the main features of the car:
- New 2013 SX4 petrol delivers and ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 16.51kmpl which is an improvement of 6%. The earlier figure was 15.5 kmpl. The 1.3L Super Turbo diesel SX4 engine continues to return the same FE of 21.79kmpl and CNG delivers 22.1km/kg.
- Bigger front bumper which gets a new dual tone front grille. Maruti has mentioned that the new 2013 SX4 is 10mm longer and we feel it is because of the enlarged front bumper which protrudes more now.
- Fog lamps also get dual tone garnishing
- New SX4 also gets smoked-out headlamp garnish
- New seat upholstery
- Dual tone black and beige interiors
- Wooden finished door armrests.
- Touchscreen panel which includes navigation, audio, bluetooth. GPS connectivity for voice navigation. This is available as options only on the ZXI and ZDI trims.
- Electrically foldable ORVMs (outer rear view mirrors)
- New SX4 also gets two new colors, Serene Blue and Granite Grey. This takes the total tally of color offerings to 6 (Glistening Grey, Beige, Silky Silver and Superior White)
The new 2013 Maruti Suzuki SX4 continues to be powered by the same 1.6L VVT petrol engine which produces 104.7PS of power and 145Nm of torque along with the 1.3L Fiat sourced DDIS diesel motor which churns out 90PS of power and 200Nm of torque.
Maruti launched the SX4 is 2007 in the Indian market and later on added the VVT (variable valve timing) petrol engine. In 2011, Maruti launched the SX4 with Super Turbo 1.3L diesel engine. The company has so far sold more than 1,08,000 SX4s till now and it is the only model in Maruti’s lineup which offers petrol, diesel and CNG options.
