The routine of introducing special editions has become more of a habit now for the India’s largest car manufacturer – Maruti. One of India’s largest selling cars Alto K10 gets snazzy body paints and interior goodies under a new special edition – MusiK Edition.
Said to be for music lovers Alto K10 MusiK edition comes with what is called as musically inclined body graphics, seat covers and ambient lighting.
The special edition gets 10 exclusive features:
- On the inside, to its name special edition gets a JVC MP3 player with USB and four front speakers.
- Other bells and whistles on the interior will be customized musiK seat and steering wheel covers, amber- illumination ambient lighting and universal floor mats.
- The silhouette gets rear spoiler, mud flaps and customized MusiK body paint and decals.
Available now in the showrooms the special edition will come in White and Silver body colors. The special edition is restricted to LXi and VXi variants and both these variants will cost around 12,000 INR more than their regular counterparts.
The entry level hatch is powered by a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder K-Series petrol engine which churns out a 67 PS of power and 90Nm of torque, while delivering a rated fuel economy of around 21 kmpl.
The special edition is a part of Alto’s recent TV commercial “Chase your Passion” theme.
