Kapoor ka Launda ya Apna Honda? New Mobilio TVC With Kapil

Honda Mobilio refuses to lay low. Contrary to the way Honda kept Next-Gen City a grand secret prior to its unveiling, the company is taking Mobilio places before its launch. The Jap manufacturer is ensuring that the hype is at its zenith when bookings and sales begin.

Just after uploading new pictures of the MPV on their official website they have uploaded a new television commercial on their YouTube channel, featuring the famous comedian Kapil Sharma. The promotional strategy Honda is using is surely a pretty interesting one.

The commercial starts in a signature Kapil Sharma way of hitting the funny bone. He shows of the different features of the car to a prospect customer. The spacious interiors and high mileage (the two aces against Ertiga) get special mentions. The i-DTEC diesel engine which is already plonked on the Amaze and the City gives an amazing mileage of 25.8kmpl and 26kmpl respectively (ARAI rated). Being a heavier 7-seater, we expect Mobilio to be very slightly lesser than these astronomical figures, however it is touted to be the most fuel efficient MPV in making.

In a typical Kapil fashion, he compares the Mobilio to the prospective groom. If the groom has a big house, so what, the Mobilio is also very spacious and would even seat 7 people, and one can go to all places in the car, be it Kullu-Manali, Lonavala, Khandala 😀

The guy looks average but according to Honda, with the Mobilio you do not need to compromise on anything including its looks (debatable…we know!). Now how can anyone refuse this deal? Between Kapoor ka Launda & Mobilio, Apna Honda is what the girl ends up choosing.

The Honda Mobilio is scheduled to be launched in July at prices just under the throat of Ertiga. What needs to be seen now is – Does it have what it takes to eat into Ertiga’s share or will it fizzle away like many others? Here is the TVC…
