The Wait Is Over- Audi Q3 Debuts This Month

Celebrate this day! If you’re an Audi lover, and especially an Audi Q3 Lover, you should be celebrating because Audi has just revealed the launching of the Audi Q3 in June 2012 i.e. this month.

The much awaited Audi Q3, as per the Mr. Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India, will roll out this month.

And his actual words were, “The overall market scenario is challenging. The rising fuel prices, depreciating rupee, changing registration taxes in various states as well as reduction in retail loans have severely impacted the automobile industry but in spite of these challenges we are confident about our growth in India. With a slew of new product launches – Audi TT in March, new Audi A4 in May and Audi Q3 in June, we are still maintaining our forecast and will achieve our sales target of 8000 cars for 2012.

 

 

The Audi Q3 is packed with some of the most sophisticated features and engine and engineering. Have a look at the list below to know more about this so awaited car in the industry:

  • The Q3 has an electro-mechanical steering system with speed-dependent power assist. It also features a 2.7 turns lock to lock operation.
  • Audi Q3 is equipped with the Quattro All Wheel Drive System.
  • Only a 2.0 litre TDi engine producing 174 bhp @ 4,200 rpm and 38,74 kgm of torque @ 1,750-2,500 rpm will sit under the hood.
  • The transmission will be a 7 speed DSG dual clutch automatic, along with a manual S-Tronic mode which actually disengages the clutch while the car is on the move to cut down the fuel consumtion.

 

Expected price speculation of other Auto Blogs and website is between 25 lacs to 34 lacs since it is destined to compete with the likes of BMW X1, while as per some it will also compete with Mitsubishi Outlander and some more. All We know is, We can wait a bit more for the prices to be released!
