The new 2015 Audi TT Coupe has been launched in India at an event in Delhi which also saw the presence of Ravi Shastri, Joe King and Aditya Patel. Audi says the new TT is more driver focussed and comes with more powerrr!
The 2015 TT coupe comes mated to a 2.0 liter TFSI engine which churns out 230hp of power and 370Nm of torque. It is coupled with a 6-speed S tronic tranismission and quattro permanent all wheel drive. It can sprint from naught to 100kmph in mere 5.3 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph. There is a more powerful TT S in international markets but it has not been launched in India today.
The first TT coupe was introduced in 1998 and this is the third generation of the car that has been launched in India. It is 50 kgs lighter than the older model.
The new TT comes with a 2+2 seat coupe and a 305 liter luggage space. It gets ESC stabilization control and 18 inch lightweight wheels.
On the interior front, the Audi TT comes with flat bottomed Multifunction Plus Steering Wheel with Paddle Shifters, AC vents with integrated adjustment for temperature, air flow and settings positioning.
The new MQB platform based 2015 TT measures 4.18 meters in length, has a wheelbase of 2.51 meters and comes with optional Matrix LED headlights.
