Just a couple of days back the first on road spyshot of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift made way on the internet and now a Team-bhp fan has sent more pictures of the car, and he has managed to take one shot of the interior too, which reveals quite a few interesting new bits…

You can see a prominent and conveniently located engine start/stop button, so yes, keyless entry will be present on the top-end variant. Other changes not visible here but expected are, one-touch power window for the driver, new infotainment system, reverse parking sensors, and electrically foldable outside rear view mirrors. Moreover, an automatic transmission is also what one of our sourced told us is coming…

Changes on the outside have already been discussed on more than one occasion and there are no surprises there – LED daytime running lights, new front and rear bumpers, new headlamps, new taillights, new design alloy wheels, and new design wheel caps for variants with steel wheels more or less comprise changes done to the exterior of the new car.

The engine options will remain the same, unless of course Maruti decides to surprise everyone with a more powerful 1.4L K-series engine or 90PS VGT of 1.3L DDIS on possibly higher variants. There may be minor tuning changes to the 1.2L petrol engine and 1.3L diesel motor which currently produces 86 bhp and 114 Nm and 74 bhp and 190 Nm, respectively.

Maruti Suzuki should be launching the Swift facelift within a few weeks from now. It would be interesting to see if it comes before the Alto K10 facelift AMT or after that!
