New Fluidic Hyundai Elantra Coming in September

Update: Hyundai has started bookings for Elantra

This name Elantra has made it to India in the past as well but even after being a potent car did not taste immense success. Hyundai has revamped its Elantra and the new car is based on the company’s latest stylish fludic design philosophy.

Hyundai displayed it at the Auto Expo held in Delhi and the good news is that the car is coming to India in September this year. Elantra would compete with Toyota Corolla, Chevrolet Cruze, Renault Fluence and Volkswagen Jetta head-on and being a more modern car does have a slightly upper hand, it seems this time.

Elantra would be launched in both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol elantra would come with 1.8 liter 147bhp petrol engine and the diesel variant will be powered by a 1.6 liter diesel engine from the Vento.

Chevrolet is also scheduled to launch an updated Cruze shortly. Hyundai has already launched the new Elantra in China and calls it ‘Langdeng
