Continuing its push towards a stronger hold on the Indian market, Czech-carmaker Skoda showcased two new products at the Delhi Auto Expo. These were the facelifted editions of the Skoda Superb sedan and the Skoda Yeti Compact SUV.
Both the models come with new design statements as well as the addition of a few goodies in the interiors. However, the powertrains and the mechanicals stay unchanged.
SKODA SUPERB FACELIFT
Skoda’s flagship model is now more elegant than ever. With a reworked front and rear, the Skoda Superb commands an incredible road presence. At the front end, the facelifted Superb boasts of the new butterfly radiator grille with a repositioned company logo. The headlights and the fog lights are new too, and they come with integrated LED Daytime Running Lamps. The facelifted Superb is equipped with LED turn signals as well.
The retweaking touch continues at the rear end too. The facelifted Superb carries C-Shaped tail-lamps comprised of three LED strips. The contour of the tail-lights has been slightly changed in the facelifted Superb, and Skoda claims this is a striking change. Other than the above mentioned works, the facelifted Superb possesses a new wheel design.
There will be three new additions to the choice of colours. They are :
- Metal Grey
- Magnetic Brown
- Brilliant Silver
The new Skoda Superb will be launched today. It will be powered by two powerplant options; a petrol 1.8 TSI engine and diesel 2.0 TDI engine. Keep tuned for its pricing.
